January 2017_A Time for Kinship Workshop
Handbuilt was in Palm Springs—invited by the Palms Springs Museum of Art—to lead a series of four workshops open to the community. As we enter this New Year and reflect on what is truly worth our time, we are building a gigantic communal calendar mapping our hopes, what we cherish and what we have in common. Makers are asked about what matters most to them, offered to compose a page of the calendar and invited to learn about the teachings of Corita Kent.
