Handbuilt Studio participated in MAK Day at the MAK Center for Art and Architecture in West Hollywood. Yuju Yeo led participants in generating graphic banners for an “Edible Endeavors Convention” that took place later in the afternoon.
Other events of the day included a curatorial walk-through of the exhibition Otto Neurath: Gypsy Urbanism, and a discussion of exhibition and display strategies in relation to infrastructure, including do-it-yourself methods, social space engagement, and graphic communication. Moderated by MAK Center director Kimberli Meyer, the panel included Juliette Bellocq.
