In 2007 the Los Angeles Forum for Architecture and Urban Design celebrated their 20th year with a fundraising event on the roof of the Downtown Standard Hotel. Working with a very limited budget, the invitation materials are designed to be printed with two colors only. The text is set one letter a the time from a database of vintage typography collected in the office. The layout grid is based on the golden number ratio giving hierarchy to text and image elements.
